Tomamu Hokkaido Japan

My son and I just returned from the most incredible holiday at Club Med Tomamu, and I cannot express enough gratitude to the amazing team at the resort for making our stay so special!

First and foremost, I have to give a huge thank you to chef Perez Adolfo who went above and beyond by preparing a delicious cheese fondue for us on our last dinner, even though it wasn't on the buffet menu that night. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made our evening memorable.

A special shout-out also goes to the village chief, ZACK whose boundless energy and enthusiasm really set the tone for the whole stay, making every moment feel exciting and enjoyable. The Reception Manager Liz and staff Yume were incredibly attentive, especially when we fell ill. They listened carefully to our concerns and ensured we were well taken care of.

The Room Manager Hafiz also deserves a mention for accommodating our request to secure a booking at Haku restaurant on our first night. Not only that, but he even tried to take me on a mini excursion on his day off! Unfortunately, the gondola was temporarily closed due to strong winds, but the effort he put into trying to make my experience extra special didn’t go unnoticed. :)

Finally, all the bar service staff Ferry, Dolphin, Rohit, etc etc deserve recognition for crafting cocktails that were tailored perfectly to our taste preferences. Every drink was an absolute treat!

Jean, the instructor, also conducted the best yoga, pilates and stretch classes. I simply love her calming voice during those classes, and I swear she made me lots taller in those 8 days.

This experience was nothing short of amazing, and we will definitely be returning to this fantastic resort in the future. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so unforgettable!

This is our second time in Tomamu.
My daughter always love the kids program her and shows !

Tan , she is the one and only Thai ski instructor , who inspired me to tried to ski. We are not too old to ski.
I am really enjoy my ski class. She is very kind , patience and supportive.

The room is nice and clean.
I like the big bottle 2 liter of mineral water each day.

The rooms are amazing, I think the designers have very high standards of ‘good’. Same as the entrance lobby, they overdid it somehow, it’s sooooo pretty that you can kind of forget you are not in a castle. The food was like… I can’t even explain how good it was because there was literally everything! The only thing that upset me was the floaties in the Mina Mina beach were for money. I didn’t know that they weren’t for free (or that there were any floaties) and I didn’t bring any money. I had to ‘borrow’ them from other people. In simple words, I really enjoyed skiing and staying at Club Med Tomamu.

Fantastic facility but really needs some quiet areas for dining and just relaxing. Skiing slightly limited by lift opening hours and lifts that are permanently closed. Club Med is focused on families with young children .The staff are excellent , very good selection of food in the restaurant and the ski club system is very well run.

It was unforgettable and fun for our children and us. We enjoyed the friendly and welcoming ambiance. Kids were in great hands at mini club. Food was another highlight. We loved trying local and international cuisine.
I was very fortunate to start my ski lessons with an amazing instructor Olly, whose patience and expertise helped a lot ease my nerves and built me a good foundation for skiing. It was truly a special experience.
We would love to come back!
