Guilin China

Club Med Guilin is a great place to stay. The whole GO team is professional and works tirelessly to make guests feel at home in the resort. We really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it.

This is our first Club Med experience and we were very happy about our stay. Our village chef Ali was amazing. Loved his energy and humor. Ali and Debra elevated the whole experience. Guilin was pretty, but ClubMed staff made the place worth going to! Daily night shows were the best of all. Yes it was mostly dancing, acrobats and some game shows mixed with guests' kids performance. But the theme varies day to day and I can see the effort and heart put into production of the shows. The Flying Trapeze team stood out the most and their choice of background music was great!

Bar service was on point. Fred was particularly friendly to my husband and it elevated his stay a lot! The stage shows next to the bar with live music and dance lifted the mood and guests were all very happy. My seven year old girl always stood at the front row middle spot every night with the dance crew and other GOs and she had an absolute blast! My three year old son was doing a whole 3 minute dance as an opening act on one night solo and I was grateful for the attention and opportunities my kids got during their stay which made our holiday very memorable. We enjoyed all the performances a lot.

Room was spacious. Shower doors were outdated and water spilled all over which was dangerous for our kids. Most washers and dryers require a mainland phone number to activate via mini program. Same with buggy service- thus very inconvenient. Food was great. Loved the variety of food at buffet hall. Appreciated the specialty items which change daily e.g Chinese Valentines desserts, hainan chicken rice and different sophisticated meat cut like pork knuckles and steaks. Mongolian restaurant hot plates were nice but booking was too hard.

Tennis coach was pretty harsh and blunt. Could be the sun and the heat or just guests not being intuitive enough, we did not feel motivated nor would we be willing to go again to be picked on once more. Golf guy, on the contrary, was super friendly to everyone and was very encouraging. Archery guys gave very clear instructions.

Mini club staff (Kimmi, Garfield, Jinni) were fab with kids. Way too hot in mid Aug and we got sun burnt despite lots of sunblock. Petit Club needs much better AC. My kid seemed to be the only one or two paying for the service so he got a bit bored/ over stimulated and refused to go on his last day. They were all very kind to our kids and I was very thankful for that.

We would like to thank the entire GO team for all their effort in making our stay memorable. This is the place to be if you are travelling with grandparents and young kids like we did, we all managed to find our own activities as there were so many options to choose from! The evening performances were amazing throughout our 5 days stay and I do not know how the team manages to find time to rehearse given their busy day time job!! Bravo to the entire Club Med Guilin team for their energy, passion, and warmth, and special shout out to Ali and Debra for leading from the front :). We will definitely be coming back!

由衷感謝Club Med Guilin整個Go Teams給顧客帶來無限的溫暖與快樂🥳村長Ali，娛樂總監Debra，在他們的帶領下，每晚安排精采繽紛的各種show，讓大家感到真的很relax，很chill！其二，房務部Jacky，Clara能合理安排好顧客的所需。首次進入Club Med就是與他們的相遇，通過他們專業的介紹，對Club Med Guilin有了大概的了解。其三，餐飲總監Adi和Canteen Manager Joe，以及Bar Manager Lee 也是非常專業。感謝這個旅程他們每天親切的問候以及安排。其四，整個運動部All Go.必須強點贊👍Jake，Nobita，Richard，JIA，Allen.他們白天是專業的教練，總是用最熱情的教學方式讓各位普及各種運動。晚上是奔放的dancers，這點是令我最佩服的點子。所有表演都是由整個G O Teams自我籌劃，通過共同努力呈現最精彩的一幕給觀眾。
Club Med Guilin讓我留下難忘的回憶。從開始的期待變成投入再變成是更多的不捨….這四天三晚的假期讓我感到很開心，很幸福。更多的幸福感是來源於整個GO團隊給予顧客的真誠與溫暖。從每天的events，每個午餐晚餐，他們都會在餐廳門口迎接各位家人們，給予親切的問候。到了晚上的party time，他們也能全程陪伴，帶動氛圍，讓大家投入其中，變成一個Big Family！I'll looking forward to going back to Club Med Guilin 🥰🥰

Kudos to the vigorous and dynamic CDV Ali who led by example in creating such a warm and vibrant vibe throughout the Guilin Club Med Resort which made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Ali could be seen around every corner of the Resort and was always highly engaged in setting up the pleasant and welcoming ambience for the events. His enthusiasms in connecting with the guests made us feel very pampered. The Leisure Experience Manager Debra who assisted Ali was a bright and talented G.O. who shone on the stage when hosting/performing in the night shows and parties.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the entire G.Os Team for their top-notch services. Their tireless energy shown during the day-time activities and night shows / parties set the perfect scene for our family holiday. The brilliant night shows performed by the talented G.Os and the special-themed parties such as the Glow Party, firework display and the Chinese Night Market were always something we looked forward to every night.

We were lucky to have Clara, the Reception Manager, to receive us during the check-in. She had personally followed up every of our special requests promptly and efficiently through face-to face contacts and WeChat, including juggling the room arrangement so that all the rooms for our big party of eight could be located on the same floor, reserving a table for us at the Mongolia Restaurant when the restaurant was full, assisting us to plan our bamboo rafting excursion, etc. Under her supervision, all other G.Os at the reception were very helpful and attentive in assisting us whenever needed.

Big thanks to Jacky, the Room Division Director, who received us and saw us off affectionately. Under his management, his team had provided high-quality room services throughout our stay.

Our applause to Adi, the F&B Manager, in leading his team to provide excellent and remarkable F&B experience. Every staff we met at the Main Restaurant, Mongolia Restaurant and Noodle Bar were all very attentive and courteous. Adi always welcomed us fondly, assisted us to find a table and checked from time to time to see if we have any needs. He was also very thoughtful in preparing signature dishes for our tasting during our last night at the resort. We appreciated his dedicated and unparallel service a lot. Cheers to Sharon for providing wonderful services at the Mongolia Restaurant and the Main Restaurant. She also proactively prepared some takeaway snacks for our enjoyment during the return journey which was very heart-warming. We would also like to extend our special thanks to Joe, the Restaurant Manager and Carol, the Chef de Cuisine for their impeccable services.

Guilin Club Med is nested in the vast Yuzi Paradise Park with a lot of spaces for organising extensive range of sports activities, including the more unique activities like the challenging outdoor rock-climbing at the karst mountain and the mountain biking. Big compliment to the sport teams including Sports Manager Adam, the rock climbing coach Richard, the golf coach Jake, the archery coach Kai, the biking coaches Allen and Jie, who were all very professional and friendly in coaching us at the sports activities.

Our tribute to the Bar Manager Lee in leading his team of G.Os including Ximena, Shen and William, etc., who served us wonderful drinks at the Bar tediously round the clock. Besides, we would like to thank Willow at the Boutique who was very kind and patient in assisting us to choose the 45/88 souvenirs.

We would like to extend our immense gratitude again to the entire G.Os Team at the Guilin Club Med who created a fun-filled and memorable holiday for our family. We look forward to meeting Ali and his team again soon after the eight-month long renovation of the Resort which will start from October 2026!
