Not only is the resort situated on one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever even in my life, but that is one of the less special things about it. The staff here is are some of the most kind, genuine, thoughtful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Haily is the new CDV and she just radiates positivity and kindness. It was truly a pleasure to get to know her. We had met Meher last year in Malaysia and he remembered us and took incredible care of us while we were there. Dodo, Rey, and Edo on the sports team were so welcoming and fun to hang out with. I only got to meet Ribka my first day but she was so helpful making sure I got settled in on my first day. I met Toshiya 6 years ago in Bali and hadn’t seen him since, and it was like no time passed at all! He took great care of us. Hassan and his entire bar staff were amazing. They learned our drink preferences after less than a day, and would come up with amazing drinks if we didn’t know what we were the mood for. I have to give an extra special shoutout to the restaurant team. They took incredible care of us all week but took the time and effort to make a special dinner for us on our last night as a goodbye. A sincere thank you to Kosuke and Candraa on the restaurant team, and to chefs Hamida and Sachin for one of the best meals I’ve ever had! And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to the housekeeping team. They made me different towel animals every day and left them in my room so I had an adorable zoo on my last day.

I just got back from another awesome trip to Club Med Kabira. The last time I was there was ten years ago. We spent five days and four nights there, and it was the perfect short getaway for everyone, from the kids to the grandparents. The flight is fast, and the transfers are so easy, which makes it super relaxing.

A huge thank you to the whole team, especially our village chief Haily. They were all so friendly and helpful. Bruce from Taiwan was great; he was always there to help us out. The restaurant manager, Benz, and Chef Meli were amazing. They saved us a table with a great view and even gave us some special surprise dishes. On our last night, they even treated us to a surprise seafood dinner—we felt so taken care of! The food was fantastic every night, especially the steak and beef cheeks. The croissants and dark chocolate bread were delicious, too.

If you love being on the water, this is the place for you. The Watersports team was awesome. Rey was so kind and always made sure we had what we needed. Max was a great teacher and helped us get better at windsurfing. Over four days, we had a blast trying everything: windsurfing, snorkeling, boat snorkeling, paddleboarding (SUP), and kayaking. Club Med Kabira is definitely the place to be if you're into water sports!

The service provided by the F&B team was excellent.

It was a family reunion trip. We didn’t want to spent too much on traveling, where to eat or looking for activities to do, so Club Med Kabira - Ishigaki was the best choice for us. We didn’t want to worry about anything, just relax and enjoy what Club Med had to offer.

The staff were nice and polite, the G.O.’s were very helpful, they were always there for us when we needed help. Especially G.O. Benz — he was kind and friendly. We were treated to great service and all my family had a great time there.

The food was always spot on. One of our favorite foods was Chef Meli’s sea food dishes, which were fresh and tasty. Evan thought they only have one main restaurant, the variety of food options offered was great. Guests were seated quickly and had plenty of food to choose from. The breads were out of this world and the deserts, OMG, if you have a sweet tooth then you will be in heaven.

The resort had enough activities to do for every single member of my family, beautiful beaches to do all the water sports, a 25 meter pool for my daily routine. Tennis, basketball, ping pong you name it they have it. Club Med Kabira - Ishigaki definitely has something for everyone, whether a family, couple, business group, or even for a single person. We highly recommend it!
