An Unforgettable Stay in a True Mountain Paradise

Our family of three from Hong Kong stayed at Club Med Tomamu for five days in early September, and it was an absolutely magical experience. Nestled in stunning mountain scenery with an amazing trip to the Unkai Terrace, the resort truly feels like a hidden paradise. Everything—from the world-class facilities to the incredible dining—was top-tier, but what truly set this trip apart was the incredible people. The warmth, energy, and hospitality of the G.O. team made our holiday unforgettable.
We’d like to give a special shout-out to the extraordinary individuals who made our stay so meaningful:

Jennifer from Thailand (Reception): From Day 1, Jennifer was incredibly helpful with our room requests, setting a warm and welcoming tone for our entire stay.
Momo (Sports Team): Momo was fantastic leading the stretching, hiking, and bocce ball sessions, and was absolutely stunning during the evening shows!
Bimo (Archery): Bimo was so kind, patient, and thorough in teaching us proper posture and aiming techniques. I consider archery my absolute favorite activity of the entire trip thanks to Bimo’s guidance!
Jean (Yoga): Jean guided beginners with immense patience while also expertly challenging guests in her intermediate class with advanced arm balances and poses.
Josh (Sports Team): Great conversation with Josh while we were hiking uphill all the way during the Nordic walk!
Ruben (Sports Team): Even though I didn't join the mountain biking, Ruben’s hilarious sense of humor, comedy talent, and high energy brought so much life to game night, mochi making, and the evening dances.
Jam (Haku Restaurant): Thank you, Jam, for being so attentive and accommodating with my dad’s dietary requirements.
Executive Chef Momo & The Itara Team: We were endlessly impressed by the food at Itara. Chef Momo’s leadership clearly shines through—the buffet was exceptionally delicious, beautifully varied, and never repetitive, offering fantastic options across both Eastern and Western cuisines. As a family from Hong Kong, we were particularly blown away by the Chinese chef at the wok station, who cooked some of the best stir-fries we’ve ever had!
Martin: A huge thank you to Martin for his upbeat personality and warm hospitality. From catching us at both check-in and check-out to running around the resort daily ensuring every guest was having the time of their life, his energy was infectious (especially during the evening shows!).
Time passed far too quickly, and my only wish is that our stay could have been longer. I sincerely hope the team could help pass along our message and compliments to everyone mentioned here—each of you left us with great memories.
Club Med Tomamu is truly one of a kind. We cannot wait to plan our next Club Med trip soon!

For a complete peace of mind

The nearest airports to Club Med Tomamu are New Chitose Airport and Tokachi Obihiro Airport.

Singapore → Chitose:
7 hours 30 minutes (direct flight)
9 hours 40 minutes minimum (1 stop)

Transfer to the resort is included in your fly & stay package and takes approximately 2 hours from New Chitose Airport and 1 hour 10 minutes from Tokachi Obihiro Airport.
