Kiroro Grand Japan

My first visit to Kiroro Ski Resort outside the snow season was beyond my expectations! I thought there wouldn’t be much to do, but I discovered so many exciting activities, from rock climbing and hiking to mountain biking and tennis. The lovely staff made my stay even more special. It was the perfect escape to unwind, recharge, and try new things. I couldn’t be happier with this wonderful experience! ❤️ .

Nestled in the lush Autumnal Hokkaido wilderness, Club Med Kiroro Grand stands in its palacial architectural grandeur with breathtaking interiors beguiled by celestial chandeliers.

A warm charming welcome befitting of familiar friends awaited me and I was immediately treated to delicious Japanese cuisine for dinner, impressed by the warmth of service and the delectable food offerings including nigiri, sashimi, Japanese curry, ramen standing out from other international fare. Being my fifth Club Med, this was undoubtedly my favourite food across all meals and the cocktails at the main theatre bar, were second to none. I quickly become an avid fan of the cocktail of the day, eagerly awaiting the next day’s curated creation.

The sports activities were excellent and the back drop of native trees in fall colours lended to the excitement of Nordic walking, mountain boarding, mountain biking or playing tennis. GM participation in activities was impressive and the sports GOs were awesome in instruction and engagement.

The night shows were spectacular and I was besotted by the creativity, choreography, musicality and execution of GOs on stage delivering exceptional entertainment. My favourite shows were Metamorphesis, Aurora & Half Time Show.

Whilst my mission was to unwind, relax and indulge, I was warmly engaged by an exceptional team of GOs led my an impressive CVD, Zack. A special thank you to my favourite GOs who spoiled me with their warm hospitality and friendship. I truly appreciate your light and energy. Arigatō gozaimasu Ing, Zsa Zsa, Oat, Harry, Renee, Coco, An, Natsume, Satomi, Aiko, Kato, Sae, Martin, Topp, Robin, Dolphin and the amazing chefs, restaurant and beverage teams!

My holiday was truly unforgettable so I will visit again one day. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone and everyone wanting an extraordinary all inclusive holiday with the best of everything to indulge in!

Chef de Village led Jack Lee with such warmth —you could really feel the care put into
making every guest's stay special.
We kept busy with mountain
biking and hiking, and the
scenery around Kiroro made
every trail worth it. My
daughter joined the Mini Club
and had the time of her life
thanks to an incredible team of
GOs: Bam, Syasya, Aldy, Jenny,
Amas, Jo, Hina, Jessie, Om,
Alaia, Ayaka, Yuna, and Jacky
— she talks about them
constantly!
We also joined the daily Amazing Family gain activities
and learned so much from GO
Cerys, such a knowledgeable
and engaging host, our whole
family walked away having
learned something new every
day.
Everything about this trip felt
less like a resort stay and more
like visiting family. We're
already looking forward to
going back!

This is our third visit to this club med. Entire GO Team was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Especially Sports team , Kitchen and restaurant ( Dogan, Eddy, Angle - thanks for catering our son’s special request for Mexican food) team and bar staff. We requested late check-out and Ai san from reception, did a great job with arranging that.
We mainly came here for tennis for my teen son. But sadly found out that tennis Academy was abandoned a few weeks ago. However Jimmy did a superb job and gave lots of tips to our son. Thanks a lot, mate. Also thanks to Kevin for hitting some balls with our son.
Had a bit of hiccup at checkout. Easy check-in/check-out via club med application doesn’t work. So we had to manually checkout at counter and there was some confusion. In the end, it was sorted gracefully but caused delay to our departure, almost missed our train from Otaru.

This was our first stay at Kiroro grand. My kids absolutely became to love with GO Rian. Even though it was only for a short time, he played with them, taught them how to make towel art, and played pool with them. He was so kind and went out of his way for us—the kids love him so much they were always looking for him.
As we were leaving, our rental car had a flat tire, and we were in a panic, but Rian,reception Danny, and Daheen,all pitched in to help us out—it was a huge help. Jackie from the Mini Club also came to say goodbye; the kids love him,too. Jesse from the Teens Club was very charismatic, and my son said he really likes him. So he went teens club everyday.It was a truly wonderful stay. We’d love to visit and see you all again. Thank you so much.
