La Pointe aux Canonniers Mauritius

Had a really good week at la pointe aux canonniers. Lots of activities for everyone (waterski, sailing, archery,…). The excursions were also a highlight. Good service, kind and friendly. Good atmosphere throughout the entire week and the food was also very enjoyable. Shout out to Jeliel from the junior club, he did an excellent job and is genuinely very kind and fun. In total a great experience and would definitely come back !!

Was a wonderful family getaway with such great entertainment throughout the day and good party vibes at night. The theme evenings really add to the fun.
I cannot fault housekeeping! Florence and Waheeza were outstanding and always got a giggle from us as they fashioned creative towel creatures for us each day. Thank you.
Pazal was such a welcome face on the beach as he enthusiastically greeted us each day as he did beach tidy up.
Was great to have Jo from the sailing team join us for drinks and dinner. This really adds to the personalised experience.

Lovely holiday with a great New Year’s party with lots of fireworks!!! Lots of comfortable lounges by pools and beaches. The snorkeling is pretty good at the shore, the water activities are amazing! Rooms are beautiful but the air cons are old and gave us trouble. There was no service at the beach and by the pools, it would be nice to order drinks and snacks from there. Joe from the sailing department was the best! He was always so helpful, fun and made us pro sailers aswell! Loved the dinners with him! Amur from the bar service was very attentive and joyful!

Had an issue with a new years reservation which was lost and they weren’t very helpful on the evening. The. They still charged me for the wine that I book on the same lost booking.

Beside that the entertainment was the highest of standards as usual.
Amur at the Bar was really attentive to our needs.

I suggest more staff over the new years week, as service did lack for a few days.

This was our second visit to the resort, and once again it exceeded our expectations, particularly from a family experience perspective. Alex was absolutely outstanding with family activities, taking the time to engage with us in a genuine and thoughtful way. From making bracelets to building sand castles, he created meaningful moments that our family will remember long after the holiday. His patience, enthusiasm, and natural way with both adults and children truly stood out.
And not to mention the brilliant dancing!!

We would also like to commend Ryan in the boutique, who provided excellent service throughout our stay. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive, making every interaction pleasant and professional.

Another special mention also goes to Jason from South Africa, who was hands down the best barman at the resort. He always welcomed us with a genuine smile, took the time to chat, and never made us feel rushed. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made every visit to the bar a pleasure and added greatly to the overall holiday experience.

Experiences like these are what keep us coming back. The personal touch from staff members such as Alex and Ryan makes a real difference and elevates the overall resort experience. We look forward to returning again in the future.
